“Though I have fallen, I will Rise Again” - Micah 7:8
Mission
Our mission is to empower individuals on their journey to recovery from substance abuse by removing financial barriers and providing comprehensive resources, support, and education through collaborative partnerships with local organizations. We strive to reduce stigma, raise awareness, and foster a culture of empathy and understanding in our community.
Vision
We envision a future where every individual affected by substance abuse can access the support and resources, they need to achieve lasting recovery. Through our efforts, we aim to create a community that is united in its commitment to combating substance abuse, breaking down barriers, and building a brighter, addiction-free future.
Our goal is to reduce any obstacles, particularly financial, that stand in the way of an individual participating in substance abuse treatment.
"We at ORA have created and operate a charitable organization that provides financial and other assistance to those motivated to seek and participate in substance abuse treatment (in the greater Charleston area); to offer support and access to the recovering community before, during and following treatment."
“I'm 11 months sober; I have a Higher Power that I continuously seek, work the 12 steps daily, attend meetings often, and I have the greatest life I have ever known! None of this would've been possible without the help of Operation Rise Again and I am eternally grateful to them for giving a hopeless addict/alcoholic like me a chance at a new way of life.”
— Amanda
“First of all, I’d like to give God all the honor because without Him I wouldn’t be here today. Secondly, I’d like to thank Operation Rise Again for sponsoring me which began my road to recovery.”
— Ashley
“With the help of Operation Rise Again I was able to get the treatment I so desperately needed. I can say I am now living a happy, joyous and free life.”
— Paul F.
